This guide provides an access point to resources and initiatives to support Ukrainians displaced by the war and coming to BC as newcomers.

BC residents wishing to extend support by volunteering, donating goods and services or offering housing will find information here as well.

Get Help Locally in Vancouver

United Way British Columbia (UWBC) and BC211's integrated service provides a one-stop portal to multilingual support for Ukrainians newly arrived in British Columbia. Find here social services supports, health care resources, and information on employment, education and childcare.

British Columbia Government Resources

Information on immigration supports and services, health care registration, employment, and education. Accessible in English, Ukrainian, and Russian languages.
(Oct 1, 2022) Ukrainians arriving in B.C. with a Canada-Ukraine authorization for emergency travel (CUAET) will benefit from a more affordable process for the federally mandated medical examination.
